Francois-Xavier Church - Part Deux.
The Francois-Xavier Parish is one of the most richly decorated churches in Paris. This is the chapel of the Virgin Mary and its beautifully painted vaulted ceiling.
Worth also seeing in the church are the Stations of the Cross: painted ceramics in wooden frames. It is impossible not to see them: each one is on a different column, so you follow them as you move down the Neve of the church. I hope my pictures do justice to the vibrant colours. I have to find out who the artist is and when they were made. The illustration art work strike me as very modern and comic-book like. Once I find out, I will update the post!
The church is located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, if you are in the area, check it out!
